Welcome, my name is Samantha and I am the salon owner and sole therapist at Lotions ·n· Potions, just how I like it!
From a young age I have always loved beauty therapy and being a therapist. I take great pride in providing professional results & an enjoyable experience. Owning my own salon has enabled me to create a salon atmosphere & treatments that clients love & I know give the optimum results.
Unlike other salons with many staff, at Lotions ·n· Potions you get treated by me & only me, every single time. Imagine your own personal, knowledgeable & experienced therapist. Salon History 101
After wanting to offer what I thought were the most effective professional treatments available, together with wanting to create a warm & friendly salon environment I decided to start my own salon.
Lotions ·n· Potions opened its doors in 2004 at the other side of Sheffield. Together with clients who have followed me from salon to salon, Lotions ·n· Potions quickly established its reputation in the area.
Staying at the other side of Sheffield for 3 years eventually the building regulations became too restrictive. Unable to run the salon how I wanted & a growing clientele I decided to find new premises. Premises that were larger, more practical, offering the freedom & independence that I needed.
After some trial & error I found new premises at the this side of Sheffield just off Ecclesall Road. The place was ideal, private & cosy. I jumped at the chance & am glad to say that my clients followed me from the other side of Sheffield.
Today I couldn’t be happier, I love my little salon. I’m proud to say that I still have clients who have been with me for over 35 years who (thankfully) love the salon too! New clients keep arriving who enjoy my sense of humour, results driven treatments & the professional cosy salon environment as well.
Clients now come to me from all over the country, travelling far & wide to receive my professional & thorough treatments, giving them the results they have always wanted.

Best Beautician By Far!
Just a quick note to say I have been going to Sam now for the last year. She is undoubtedly the best Beautician by far. She is professional, discreet and a wonderful person. I highly recommend her. Every time I visit I know I am going to come away feeling wonderful (even after waxing which doesn’t seem that painful with Sam!!) and I usually book a new treatment that I have never tried before!! xx Wishing you all the success in the future.
